Nada Sader started her career in 2009 with the law firm Derains & Gharavi in Paris, where she became partner in 2015 and headed the firm’s Beirut office for seven years.
With over fifteen years of experience in international arbitration, she has worked on over 40 international arbitration cases as counsel or arbitrator.
She has represented private parties and governments in numerous ad hoc and institutional commercial arbitrations, including under the aegis of the ICC, ADCCAC, BCCI, DIAC, the Paris Chamber of Arbitration and UNCITRAL. She has also represented investors and States in investment arbitrations, including in more than eight ICSID arbitrations as counsel, as well as annulment proceedings. She has also acted as counsel in arbitration proceedings initiated on the basis of the Agreement on the Promotion, Protection and Guarantee of Investments Among Member States of the Organisation of the Islamic Conference.
Nada Sader also regularly sits as arbitrator (sole arbitrator, co-arbitrator or president of the Tribunal), and has done so in ICC, BCCI, DIAC and ad hoc arbitration proceedings.
Her practice covers a wide range of industries.
